Movie Experience

I think, it is a good experience to watch a movie in the movie theatres. There are many reasons for this.
First, I like to watch a movie on the big screen, in the big dark theatre room. It is very different than my lovely small living room. I can see all the details and I feel like I am a part of the movie. Second, going to movie is a good social activity to get together with our friends. It gives us a chance to spent some time with each other. After the movie, we can go somewhere for dinner or drink something and speak about the movie. The idea is that we can share more details of our lifes when we do same activities. Third, I also like to go to the movie theatre just with my husband. We both need to get relaxed and the movie theatre makes us relax. It is also romantic for us. We remember old days before we got married and used to go to the movies. I like to put my head on my husband's shoulder and watch the movie or just sleep in the movie theatre. Forth, going to a movie is fun too. My husband and I get excited before we go to the movie theatre. Our day changes with this plan. We both also like to eat hot pop-corn in the movie theatre.
So, going to the movies is a fun experience and makes our day different in a good way.

Ideas For Saving Money

Saving money is important for many people. If you have a hard time to save money, you should pay attetion to these ideas. First, if you rent an apartment, try to get an roommate. In this way, you can split the expenses like utilities. You can share same cable, internet connection and telephone expenses. It really helps to save money each month. Second, you can cook at home instead of going out to eat. Buying ingredents and cooking at home is much cheaper than going to a restaurant. They will charge more money, you also have to pay a tip. Third, it may be a good idea to take the bus or drive a moped to get to work. Because gas prices are getting expensive especially nowadays, in that way you can save a large amount of money every month. Forth, rent a movie instead of going to the movie theatre. It is expensive. When you go to movie theatre, you may want to buy pop-corn or something to drink. So, you will spent more money. Fifth, you should decide what you or your family need and go shopping at sales times. Especially at the end of the season sale, you can find very good deals.
If you follow these ideas, you will see that you can save some money each month and it really helps for a long time !

My Family's Kitchen

There is no room in the house that reminds me more of when I was a kid than the kitchen. The memories of the incredible foods that were prepared there flood back to me as I read Mom's recipes. In some cases I think the place that made me feel warm and cheer up was the kitchen. Let my imagination go back to my childhood.
I still remember when my mom cooked many things in the kitchen, it would get fogged up. Being in the kitchen at that time was a mystic feeling for me. Many things would happen around me. Things would transform and take on a new shape or appearance and I simply would not know how it happened.
Sometimes our kitchen was crowded. My mom and her friends worked together in the kitchen and helped each other (I still can hear their happy laugfing) to prepare to cook with a lot of different ingredients. As a child, seeing all kinds of spices, smells, oils, vinegars and baking ingredients mixed with each other to become a new shape, color or smell was miracle. I used to sit down in front of the oven and watch the cake rise. There were different kinds of little towels hung up on the oven. I tried to see my little face between them on the oven window. When the cake was done, all of the kitchen was filled with the fresh baked cake and Turkish coffe smell. Oh God, I love this smell and taste especially with milk. I also like the smell of the toast with butter every morning from the kitchen except that it reminded me it was a school day.
Our kitchen was the best place to have a conversation. As I grew older always liked to sit down around the kitchen table with Turkish tea and have conversation with my girlfriends-especially if it was a private conversation. Even today, if we do not prefere to share "girly" things with our father, there is a saying: "Girls, go to the kitchen!". It is a perfect place to whisper, laugh and share some secrets. It is the most inviting, friendly and warm place for that.
When I cook in the kitchen today, if it fogs up, I get that same feeling I would get as a little girl in the middle of the mysterious but comforting warm kitchen air.

First Day

Hi, my name is Naime. I was born in Turkey. I have spent most of my life there. My backround and memories about there will be in my heart forever. I really miss my country and my friends there.
I moved to the U.S.A. three years ago. Since then I have been living in a beautiful city name is Gainesville in Florida. I like the climate here. One of my cousins lives in Chicago and he hates the cold. In Gainesville, we do not have as much of a problem with the cold as they do in the north. It is a beautiful environment in Gainesville. I love trees, rivers and lakes. In my eyes this is the most beautiful city to live. I am newly married. I have a husband, a lovely little house and one baby peach tree in my yard.
